Optical Disc Design -- DVD / CD Packaged Interactive Home Entertainment

This is an unfinished listing of Michael Pace's DVD Design and Production, titles created in collaboration with the largest film studios in the industry, listed in no particular order: although the digital whirlwind what was DVD began with Warner Bros, and Steven Speilberg's "The Color Purple" given to me as a test of my performance and skills.

In 1996, while at Warner Bros. Home Video, a client, I serviced creating packaging and marketing promotion for VHS tape movies, I showed an interactive pitch off my laptop of a promotion created for in-flight shopping (seat back touch screen) to British / Singapore Air. She squealed, jumped up and left the room, and returned handing me a couple of white pages some simple UI specification -- as I recall RGB codes, bit depths and aspect ratio. She tasked me to create what it might look like for an interactive movie an we set about an on-screen (DVD menu) digital evolution... THE COLOR PURPLE was to be one of the first DVD's (menu) ever made for the format at launch. - wiki DVD format

Pace created a lion-share of DVD movie titles at the format's launch, and set precedence (the bar and spec) on many titles thereafter...
